Spokan, Portland and Seatle Railroad had 3 of these masive E1s built in the late 1930's for express services.

4430 now on freight duty 4430, 1st of the GS-4s, is about to head down to Woodside whilst F5 3762, a 1925 Baldwin 2-10-2 backs on to a heavy coal drag

..Also this 16mm Parlmerston, in original condition, hiding under a 3.5 inch Papirus and Robey steam tractor.

Back on the stage an LMS Garratt clanks past the NCB loader

The 16mm Garratt operators group I have seen a few times this winter. This Dargeeling Garratt was first in operation

Their layout has this impressive working coaling stage

We arrived at Brighton in time to see the conclusion of this miniture tank battel, which was truely awsom

There was a 4mm scale model of the untilmate transport museum. Many much sort after locomotives were on display, including Gresleys 10000 and (out of sight in the main building) his 6 cylinder Garratt

The ational Transport Museum layout also included a perimiter narrowgauge ride

The NG and SG demo lines crossed these working bridges with restored steam boats behind and in the greay building, just visible, was a large stationary engine turning over

Brighton would not be compleat without a Terrier

This super paddle tug, Eye-Lynne was demonstrated in the boating pool

One gentelmen is building a 9 foot model of a destroyer and was demonstrating his compleat steam plant, with gass fired tripple return boiler, twin triple expansion main engine, condensers, auxillery pumps and generalting plant

In Steam on the rides track was Bagnal CS class 2-4-0T

These were the smallest steam locomotives owned by India's Easterns Railways, there were 4 sisters built between 1925-36...

...fitted with Bagnal Price valve gear the four worked the Shantipur-Nabadwip Ghat 2 foot gauge line north of Calcutter
